Looking to extract the most out of Cayman’s mid-engine chassis architecture, Porsche’s engineers modified suspension, steering, and the body of the GTS for better airflow, cooling, and aerodynamics. The result is terrific, and GTS mesmerizes with its driving characteristics, precise handling, and razor-sharp steering, allowing the driver to engage in a unique driving sensation. The 718 GTS is much different from its lesser cousins because the 4.0-liter engine was borrowed from the 911 range and required modifications to fit.

For those who are looking for sheer numbers, 718 Cayman GTS can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds and top 180 mph. However, the numbers don’t do justice to this fantastic machine since they cannot deliver the sheer excitement of the acceleration, great feel of the well-appointed interior, and characteristic growling sound of a powerful flat-six engine rushing its way to 7000 pm.
